Dell XPS 17 3D NVIDIA 555GT System....
Installed a Hybrid SSD drive and Windows 7 Ultimate from scratch.... All devices are accounted for in device manager with the exception of a Multimedia Controller...

I'm thinking it might be the card reader, but don't see any drivers for it available from the website or the resource CD...
Any ideas?

Would it by chance be a Bluetooth Media Player Controller? When I tried to update the Bluetooth software/driver provided through Dell, the driver/software hangs...can't stop the Bluetooth Media Player Controller service and I can't find it listed anywhere in the services listing to manually stop it...and then proceeds to uninstall itself and go back to the way it was before I tried installing it.
Just a guess...

all drivers applicable to the system have been installed... there is something missing that Dell hasn't provided on their website.. also crazy that no one from Dell that moderates these forums hasn't responded yet...
