Dell XPS 17 L702X New Dell Battery Installed - Battery light flashing

I just purchased a new battery from Dell and installed it. The battery light is flashing orange (4 times) and then white. Battery meter says "Battery Charging Disabled". How can I get my new battery to charge and work properly?

I have a few more suggestions:

Method 1

Please turn off battery charging in the battery meter and then power off system. Disconnect AC adapter, wait a few minutes, connect adapter and then power on system. Turn on battery charging again, power off system and then power on, hopefully battery charging is enable now.

Yes, Windows 7 Home Premium. Battery Charging is not turned off and have re-booted, just in case...

If battery charging still isn't fix....

Method 2:

1. Power off system, remove AC adapter & Battery, and then press and hold down the 'Power On' button for 15 seconds to release Status Flea Power, wait a few minutes, install battery and adapter into system.

2. Power on system, quickly start tapping F2 key continuously. In  BIOS setup, Reset the BIOS to Default Values.

Method 3: Uninstall / Reinstall Quickset Application (Battery Meter)

1. Click the Start button, open Control Panel, click on Programs, and then uninstall Quickset (Battery Meter).

2. To reinstall; click on link below, expand Application, and then install Quickset App.

Same does happen on my 17R 5720 sometimes,

Simple fix is just remove the battery and re-insert in and plug the DC plug back in and it should be fixed.
