I've got an XPS13 and have recently purchased an Anker Pro 2 external battery to enable me to extend how long I can go without connecting to a plug socket when traveling.
When I plug the battery in I get a message saying plugged in but not charging. The battery seems to be detected but for some reason it won't charge the laptop.
I've tried replacing the battery and I get the same issue with the replacement even though both batteries work fine on other devices.
Has anyone come across this or got any thoughts on how I can resolve it?
Dell recommends using only compatible Dell branded chargers and battery as they are specifically designed for each particular Dell system. As using external batteries my lead to system malfunction.
