Dell inspiron 15 7000 7559 Battery Extender (External battery pack)

Hello,

I've been looking around for a battery extender for an adapter with output 6.7A, 19.5Volts -- 130Watts.

No luck so far, as most of the items I found had max 5A output.

Does anyone know of a solution to carrying extra juice on the go for the inspiron 7559? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I found the Dell Power Companion PW7015M which is compatible with the Inspiron 15-7559.

Thanks for the recommendation. Would you happen to know how many hours of extra battery life this would give?

Check your existing battery - if it's say 58 WHr (not uncommon for 4-cell batteries), take that, divide by the voltage and multiply by 1000 to get its capacity in mAh.

58 WHr/14.8V * 1000 = 3920 mAh.  If the device is 12K mAh, that's about 3X the battery capacity, meaning that you can take your current battery runtime and multiply by about 3 to get the runtime from the power companion.
