Dell inspiron 15r n5010 black screen, 8 beeps

Laptop was working fine until the next day. Upon starting it up there was a black screen and it would beep 8 times and repeat after a few seconds.Laptop is around 4-5 years old.

Attempted:

Releasing flea power for 2 mins

Holding the D+power button

Connecting external monitor

Connecting it to the tv via hdmi

Taking computer apart and putting it back together

And even when I hold a bright light against the screen nothing shows when its powered on.

Can anyone please help? I know I probably can't save the computer but I need some way to get my important files off of it. :(
