Dell site says XPS 15 gets delivered in 1-3 days, the order date for my order is 2 weeks from now...
Why does it say that I will receive the laptop 2 weeks from now when it says that I should expect it within 1-3 days?

Generally when that happens there has been a burst of orders, or there is a part on back order and the sales site hasn't been updated yet. The delivery times are just estimates and could be sooner or later depending on various conditions.
