Dell vostro 1310 - cooling fan - Noise - BIOS DOWNGRADE A15-->A10
Hello,
is there anybody who knows how to downgrade a bios (topic)? I'm not so good in this stuff.
I use a dell vostro 1310 with the intel graphic and the fan noise (sunon) drives me crazy. Dell switched my mainboard and the whole cooling system, but it's still unbelievable loud. I read BIOS A10 may be better because of lower fan speed.
I tried to order the Foxconn Fan, but it is unavailable.

I have the same laptop and have been using a15 for a while now. My processor (t8300 2.4 GHz) is overclocked to 2.5 GHz and yet i fell that this notebook has the least noisy fan that i have ever seen. I have never actually heard the fan (I do a lot of Gaming and video converting). I think you should get the cooling system checked again.
