Dell xps M1710 Question please ..

I just got a Dell xps M1710 .. The Video card is bad and I want to replace it soon .. Is there a secure place to get one of these for a good price .. ?? .. It has a 512mb 7900 GPU thats all I know on it for now .. Allso .. Does any one know if there are therm pads on this unit or does it just use paste .. If therm pads what size do I need .. ?? .. Or is it just ok to use paste .. ?? .. This will be my first time taking one of these apart so I want to get it done the way it should be done .. Thanks in advance for the help ..

Bear in mind that this system uses a proprietary video card that's of a generation of nVIdia chips known for faulty engineering - they're still out there but they're dwindling in numbers and a very big gamble because of their unreliability.

There is one reliable card for this model, based on the ATI X1400

All of the nVIdia-based cards for it have faulty chips on them.
