Dimension 5150/E510 cpu temp

I just got my Dell Dimension 5150/E510 and like any computer person I would like to keep an
eye on it. I am looking for a way to monitor my cpu temp, fan speed and such.
I called support with no support. There answer was either wait for the overtemp and my system witll notify me. Or one tech did really try, but sent me to an intel site to download software but either  locked my system up or didn.t work.

I tried MBM 5, speedfan, sensorview, and I8. Is Dell that afraid to let some specs out so vendors can write software that works.
I feel like I bought a new car, but I have no gauges, my oil dip stick was remove and my hood was wielded shut. To top that the dealership said if the car stops running, tow it in and we will look at it.

Is there any help out ther please

There is no sensor to monitor.

You can add one of these:

Then why is this in my bios settings and I do have the selection available.

Performance

Hyper-Threading

(On default)

Determines whether the physical processor appears as one or two logical

processors. The performance of some applications improve with additional

logical processors installed.

SpeedStep

(On default)

Allows the BIOS to modify the processor fan and speed based on processor

temperature readings.

NOTE: SpeedStep is not supported by all processors; therefore, this option will

appear only when a supported processor is installed.

Sorry about that scratch my last. I just rechecked my bios and it does not include speedstop.
