I am anxiously waiting for my Precision M6800 to arrive (8 more days!) to replace my 6-1/2 year old Latitude D820.
I've been reading up on DisplayPort features and I discovered that v1.2 cables must be used to support audio.
I currently use an NEC EA232WMi monitor with my Latitude, connecting with a VGA cable. However, it does have a DisplayPort connector and it appears to support audio (according to the specs).
I don't see any information in any of the Dell documents, but I'm assuming that the Precision M6800 Displayport does support audio.
Am I correct?
