Does my Dell Vostro 3460 battery really die?
Hello,
After I bought a Dell Vostro 3460 laptop for about 9 months, now my battery won't charge at all.
To use it, I must always plug in my power adapter.
The status of my battery I've checked in BIOS is battery performing normal.
The status when I hove over my battery icon while charging is "5% available (plugged in, charging)".
Yet, my batter won't received the more percent at all.
Is my battery is already died?
Thanks!

Contact Dell support for a warranty replacement of the battery.

FYI, I've unplugged all of the external devices from my laptop and remove the battery as well as the power adapter.
I press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. After that I start my laptop.
I checked the the Adapter Type in BIOS is 90W & Battery Status is Performing Normally, too.
