Hi Obxrose,

Are you attempting to update drivers for Window 8 or Windows 8.1? In case you are upgrading to Windows 8.1, please go through the Windows 8.1 Upgrade Checklist provided in this link: http://dell.to/17M0nzw

Install all the Windows 8 critical and optional updates. Ensure that the Microsoft update MSKB2871389 is installed.

Try updating the drivers from the Dell Support website by clicking on the link below:

AMD Radeon HD 7670M Graphics Driver:  http://dell.to/1fXG9uO

If not successful, go to this website for AMD Graphics Drivers and Software:  http://dell.to/17LZrv8

Click on the Download now link under "Automatically Detect and Install"  on the right-hand corner of the screen.

Since you have not elaborated on the issue which is of concern, please try steps above and let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks & regards,
Babita S

I've got the same laptop.  installed 8.1 x64 clean via USB, using UEFI and Windows 8 Fast Boot option in BIOS as well as secure boot...  I used Dell's video driver package for Windows 8 x64, A03.  It installed and ran just fine.  I then wanted to do further testing to see if I could get the latest AMD AND Intel drivers running on 8.1  I downloaded AMD's latest beta, 13.11 v1, and ran it on top of the A03 package.  Upon reboot, I had yellow exclamation marks on both video adapters.  I went into Device Manager, disabled the AMD adapter, then went into the Intel adapter in Device Manager and did Update Driver (this was while disconnected from the internet).  Once it was updated, it was no longer in a faulted state.  I re-enabled the AMD adapter.  Both adapters were started and working fine.  I rebooted to ensure they booted up correctly and that switchable graphics still worked.  They indeed did!  The graphics switcher link still worked as expected.  Step one down!  I did an incremental backup to save my progress using Macrium Reflect, and then started on the Intel adapter.  I downloaded their latest package, 15335, and it installed.  After a reboot, both adapters and their respective software packages were working just fine!  Been running like this for 2+ weeks!

I installed the the following driver on my fresh Windows 8.1

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/vostro-3560?driverId=9NNDW&osCode=WB64A&fileId=3285741588&languageCode=EN&categoryId=VI

Unfortunately it gave me terrible benchmark scores... hope to see an update soon.

@FREE_REFIL - I'm going to try your solution tonight. Thanks for sharing

FLEISCHMANN2000 - are you sure you have the benchmarking software programmed in the switchable graphics portion of the Catalyst Control Center?

Yeah, I'm sure. I get the same bad performance in all games. Clearly this driver was not made for the Radeon HD 7760M, but for the 7730M.

I hope Dell comes out with a proper Windows 8.1 driver as soon as ATI releases the final 13.11 driver version.

After playing around for a bit, I eventually got it working. Here is what I did:

1. Install Windows 8.1 with all updates except the driver Updates Windows suggests you

2. Install all drivers except the VGA drivers

3.Install the Dell AMD Driver for Windows 8.1 http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/vostro-3560?driverId=9NNDW&osCode=WB64A&fileId=3285741588&languageCode=EN&categoryId=VI

4. After Reboot got to device manager and disable the AMD GPU

5. Install the latest Intel HD4000 Update via windows update

6. After Reboot reactivate the AMD GPU

7. disable the Intel GPU

8. Download the latest Windows 8.1 AMD Beta driver from AMD (I think its Beta 9.5)

Install and reboot

9. Intel GPU should be ractivated by itself, if not got to device manager

10. In catalyst CC set the options you want

Everything sould be working now, at least it did for me.
