E6220 Black Screen, tests fine, external monitor works

Black LCD screen, but:

external monitor works, and

all diagnostics (BIST, F12 diagnostics at boot) show the display is fine.

Drivers are up to date.

I'm out of ideas.

I updated the BIOS to vA13 and it works now.

I ran the BIST and the screen displayed properly; system diagnostics also were negative for any problems.
