E6410 - Can't install Bios update A10 from Windows
On a Latitude E6410, I am trying to update my bios from A07 to A10 (which was released last month). I downloaded the file and ran it but the installer doesn't start. I see a progress bar for less than a second, but that's it.
Is there any log that could take a look at to see what is going? I'd really like to update my bios.
Thanks!

thanks - I'm good
@ "others who cant find the file"
[Note: Bios v 11 was recently released EOY – that file does NOT appear to have the ‘Other Versions’ items so you need to click into the version 10 file instead]
Click “Dell-BIOS” for the E6410A10.exe (5MB) file (don’t click “Download file” yet) and expand the link for ‘Other Versions’ and you will see multiple previous versions including A09.exe
'SeattleWeasel' also posted the direct FTP URL -- you can get it by clicking the link on page 1 or just use the direct link I'm providing here :emotion-2:

You say you can find A10. Click on A10 and it takes you to another web page. Then click on other version. I have done this so you can see it.

Nice to see this method still works in 2013
Thanks.
Too bad I could never find where Dell explained how to get the BIOS Update to work.

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/driverdetails?driverid=R305353 and or http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/driverdetails?driverid=CK5MK to located E6410A09.EXE Bios installation - Install A09. Then return to the normal product support page and download A10, or A16.
