E6500 HDD vibration and LED blinking

Hi

I've just installed on the new E6500 Win XP and noticed that chasis is vibrating especially when I put it on the wooden desk.

Also HDD LED is blinking every 1-2 secs when no activity.

I did all upgrades if BIOS , DCP ( really bad soft) , camera, chipset, bluetoth , Intel matrix driver & program and other Urgent and recomened sofr from dell page.

Is it normal on the E6500 ?

I've already stopped bying next E series for my company till Dell will be again reliable.

I still have my old D610 and use it in evening as my wife is complaining that new E6500 is working too noisy to sleep ;-)

I had the same issues 5-6 yrs ago with HP and then swiched to Dell , but now also Dell is doing the same, introducing to the market beta versions of laptops
