External Mic
I have called Dell to get an external mic for my dell Inspirion 15 5547. He said they don't sell them. Where do I get one that is compatible w my laptop. I need it to talk on PalTalk, online conversations. What do I do?

Hello. The documentation for your model shows it having a headset port. Dell laptops with a headset port can accept a smartphone style headset (mic and headphones combined into a single unit). Smart phone style headsets have a TRRS plug -- a plug with 4 segments.
I cannot tell you of a specific brand that is guaranteed to work with your laptop. Advise that you buy from a seller with a good return policy. You can find headsets at many places, Amazon, office supply stores, etc.
