FIPS compliant fingerprint reader for Precision M4400

The other day I received my Precesion M4400 laptop. Its an amazing laptop with lots of horse power. However, one thing I'm not sure of is the FIPS reader. There is no software of the resource CD that came with it. It doesn't work with XP 32bit Pro and it doesn't even work with Vista 64bit. Can anyone assist me on what version of control manager I need and what other software do I need to install in order to make the Biometric function as it was paid for?
