...FM transmitter...

We are going on a trip soon, and I am planning on taking my I6000 to watch movies on the trip. Instead of listening to the audio out of the notebook's speakers I thought of maybe using a cassette adapter, but then a FM transmitter came to mind. Do these work well? If so, what is a good brand/model to consider? Also, how long does the batteries usually last?

Thanks for your time!!

they aren't as good as a CD but the FM transmitters aren't that bad.  i'm not sure on brands.  if you plan on a long trip (or several), consider a car adapter for your laptop

Cody,

We used a C.Crane FM transmitter with and Inspiron 5150 and auto AC inverter (200 Watts or better) on a trip last year, with excellent results.  The only problem was concentrating on the road while the kids were watching an "action" movie!

Enjoy your trip.
