Foxconn 1566 sata conector for Dell Latitude E5520

Hey,

I have an issue with my harddrive, most of the time it's nof found by the BIOS.

I need a replacement for this Foxconn SATA connector, it only says "1566".

Does anyone know where I can order such a connector?

This appears to be the connector that belongs to the mainboard - if that's what it is, it won't be separately replaceable.  You'll need a new system board.

That's not a Dell Part number.

I would look here:

Been looking for one of these for over a month. Must have checked every SATA HD connector on the net. Not much luck with Dell. Placed an order but can't get a responsse from Dell as to whether it's being processed. Found out that they call it a bridge and the part no. is C49RW. These are readily available on the net; not cheap but it helps to know what you are looking for

ejn63, that's not what I wanted to hear :-)

Sadly this connector isn't available from Dell.

I will order a "2nd HDD SSD hard drive Caddy", that's a perfect workaround!

Thanks SpeedStep and ejn63 for the fast response!
