GTX 460m drivers
I just received my M17X-R3, i7 2820QM and GTX 460m. Was unable to upgrade video drivers because it "could not find compatible graphics hardware." I researched this and was informed that it's a Dell requirement to download all drivers from Dell. Ok, when is Dell going to update their drivers? There's been 2 WHQL drivers upgrades released from nVidia, the 266.58 and 267.76 and I'm stuck with the 266.08. Come on Dell, update!

Install nVidia Mobility Modder here http://www.hardwareheaven.com/nvmodtool.php . Store it in a folder and forget about it for the time being.Link below for the desktop download it (266.58) and run it thru the mobility modder stored in the folder you saved it to. Link above.>Follow ALL steps.

Modder doesn't support the 460m.

Sorry about that i grabbed the modder from my favorites page and forgot they did not get that far on it.

I am having the same issue with the same build: M17X-R3, i7 2820QM, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460M. Any chance of this getting resolved or were you able to find a resolution? My computer will randomly give blue screens and shut down because I'm unable to update past the out of date drivers on the website and the inability to update directly from NVIDIA.

been months and dell cant give us a respond, we spend thousands to build our nice systems.....to have outdated drivers.......... come on dell lie to us or something tell us in a few more months or years something.... cant believe we spent so much and we cant even watch simple 3d video on youtube etc.. well i thought i would vent my anger a bit and i guess i will keep waiting with my outdated drivers...... for something that will never come Big Smile
