Hard Drive Replacement Warranty Question

So I have a Dell Insiron 15 (some bunch of numbers), and I had to replace the hard drive within it. So i no longer have windows 8.1

Im wondering if even after a hard drive replacement, is the laptop still under warranty so i could request a copy of windows 8/10?

Its warranty is supposed to last til 2016, not sure if i voided it by replacing the hard drive. But the hard drive came with some issues since i had it from the start.
