Has anyone here upgraded the memory of a Dell Inspiron 11 3147 Intel Pentium N3530 from 4GB to 8GB? Few questions
Dell says that the maximum memory allowed is 4gb but I have seen some posts online where others have upgraded it to 8gb with success however they have different processors from my Intel Pentium N3530. I am not sure if the type of processor will determine if it is compatible or not. Does the processor type determine if it will be compatible with more memory or not? Has anyone tried this?
Also, will changing to an SSD and increasing my RAM significantly improve the performance of my laptop? I ask this because I believe the Intel Pentium is a lot slower than the core iSeries and I am wondering if Intel Pentium will be a constraint on system performance or not?
