Help with DVD Drive on Dell Inspiron 5537

I'm having trouble with playing DVDs on my inspiron 5537. It had been working just fine until today. I played a DVD and when I skipped towards the end to watch a particular scene the show started to play back as if the disc were scratched. I checked the disk and there are no scratches.

I replaced the disc with several other ones and the same problem happens. The show will be just fine in the beginning minutes but once it hits around 12 minutes the player starts getting really loud and the show is not beign played back without skipping, pausing, and lagging.

It was working just fine yesterday. I've never had this problem before. What do i do? Clean the drive, replace it? Take it to a repair shop?
