How to reinstall camera Dell Inspiron 5520 Windows 8

Hello,

My camera wasn't working and when trying to sort it out I accidentally uninstalled it. I now can't figure out how in earth to get it back any pointers would be greatly received! - I'm on Windows 8 and its the integrated camera for a Dell Inspiron 5520.

Download and install Intel HM77 Chipset Driver

Then download and install this file, also known as Dell Webcam Central Version 1.40.05

See if you webcam works. You can also try Webcam Diagnostics

Thanks for the message. I've got the webcam working again, however... its still not working in Skype which is why I started meddling with it in the first place. You don't know how to solve this do you?

Open Skype. Click on tools, video options. You'll see...

Do you have a drop-down menu to select the webcam?

Does Dell Webcam Central open? Is it in the Capture mode?
