I can't find the search bar!

I just got a new laptop, inspiron, and somehow accidentally hit the groove music player... now it thinks that it has to be the primary player. When I click on an audio track, Groove takes over and can't be shut off. When I went to Microsoft help, I saw this:

I suggest you to follow the steps below to uninstall Groove:

  1. Press Windows key.
  2. Type Windows PowerShell in the Search.
  3. Right click on Windows PowerShell from the list and click on Run as Administrator.
  4. Type in the following command ‘get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneMusic* | remove-appxpackage’ and press Enter.

However, when I click on the windows button, there is no search bar to be found! Where is it?

If anyone can offer a bit of help, I would be very grateful...

Do you have Windows 10 installed on that computer?  If you do, then right after you click the Windows button, you can just start typing and it will automatically search.

I'd suggest you click on the windows icon, click Settings, System, Apps & Features, and then Grove Music.
