I have 2 Inspiron 1150s and 1 Inspiron 5100 that will only start with the battery.

I have 2 Inspiron 1150s and 1 Inspiron 5100 that will only start with the battery.

They will not start with the power adapter, I have tried different known good adapters.

The power adapter will charge the battery in all 3 but wont start them.

I have run out of things to try.

1. press power button for 30 seconds

2. changed memory

3. removed CD

4. cleaned all fan areas

5. reseated everything I could think of.
