I just bought a Dell Inspiron and it is a PIECE OF ***!!

I have never been so frustrated.  I just bought this computer and have used it fewer than 3 days.  

1. the internet is ridiculously slow

2. the computer starts up more slowly each time I turn it on - sometimes doesn't start at all and needs to be re-booted

3. the touchpad settings randomly reset themselves yesterday.  Now when I try to click on "Click to change Dell touchpad settings" nothing happens, so I can not change them back to my preferred settings

4. sometimes the touchpad decides to stop working all together and I am stuck

5. the machine overheats after about 2 minutes of use.

This is an absurd number of things wrong with a brand new machine, and the diagnostic I just ran told me that the hardware is fine and all of the drivers are updated.  It would be impossible for me to use this machine to do any serious work in the state it is in now.  I am writing to the forum as a last resort, but I would like to caution anyone browsing to not buy this machine, or if you have recently bought it, return it now!
