I15-156B (Intel GMA 4500MHD) VGA to LCD TV
My I15-156B laptop with the Intel GMA 4500MHD card only has a VGA output; is it possible to connect it to my LCD TV using a VGA to S-Video or RCA adapter? I read that the graphics card needs to support TV-out in order for the adapter to work; I have seen other computer systems using this card with HDMI output, so is that the same is supporting TV out when it can output HDMI? Thanks.

To do what you want, you either need to get a TV with a VGA input. My LG does.
Or you need to buy a VGA to s-video converter box. Not a cable. A converter box.
