Inspirion 13 Touch Screen Scroll

For the past month or so when I go to scroll with my finger on the touch screen, instead of scrolling, it throws up the right click box.

I have searched online for solutions, checked the drivers, and everything else I could think of in the settings to fix the issue, but I am at a loss.  I just want to be able to scroll a webpage using my finger.

I use Chrome mostly.  When I scroll with my finger in a Word document, it works.

Anyone else having this issue?  Does anyone know what to do?

Hi,

Have you tried checking the touch screen settings to see if there is a option to increase the time that you need to touch and hold the screen for the right click menu to show up. Does it happen on the desktop as well. I believe the that the system thinks that you are trying to right click.

1. Check with other browsers

2. Try reinstalling chrome

3. Check if there a update available for the drivers present on the computer.

To update drivers http://dell.to/2fNWncT;

4.  If nothing works, backup the data and try a system restore to a point where the issue wasn't present.
