Inspirion 1764 installation Window XP

Hello,

I thinking about install windows xp on my inspirion 1764. But i worried about drivers. I checked the drivers on the dell website and after i try find version of this drivers from dell website on google. I finded drivers but im not sure that will be work. I have question that someone try install windows xp on this laptop?

If you want to run Windows XP, consider using Windows 7 XP mode.  Otherwise, be prepared to have to settle for partial functionality - it's not likely you'll find fully  functional drivers for all the hardware in the system

You would be better off upgrading to 7 Pro or Ultimate, and running XP mode.  You may be able to get XP to run, partially - but you will face a challenge and still likely wind up with features that do not work.

I cant use widnows xp mode. Becouse when i install after when i tray run i have information that in this version of windows 7 i cant use windows xp mode. I have windows 7 home premium.
