Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1laptop security

I recently purchased a 2-in-1 laptop Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1.  There does not appear to be a "KENSINGTON" style slot, bit I do see a square hole on the left side near the back.  Is this a locking slot, and, is there a special cable lock designed/available for this PC?

Noble Wedge Lock was the answer.  I got one on Amazon - Noble Security TZ08 WEDGE PROFILE SECURITY LOCK.  It is lighter weight and more expensive than the Kensington locks I am used to but at least it fits.

I also recently purchased the same notebook, and was surprised to find the Kensington type lock did not work.

Just was on a chat with a Dell representative, asking about this, and they tried to sell me a Kensington lock.  They don't seem to have any idea.

Check out this older post I found - looks like we need a Noble wedge lock

Thanks for the info - had a similar experience with dell "tech support" - sad that they have people without a clue in a position to help.  I found similar locks on Amazon as well - I am going to try one.  The PC is now off at college with my daughter so it sits in her dorm unsecured.  Hopefully this works.  Let me know if you have success as well.

My PC is also off at college with my  son, unsecured.  I am hoping the lock I ordered will do the trick.

Thank you.  I have already tried 3 different Noble locks and none of them worked on my Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series laptop.  Just ordered the TZ08 and am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have a Dell Inspiron 13 7378, and on the advice of this posting I ordered the Noble Security TZ08.  I can definitively tell you it does NOT fit in this laptop.

I take that back.  It did fit in the laptop after all.  I just needed to "force" it in.
