Inspiron 13 Waking from Sleep = Screen of fuzzy lines

Hi

Waking laptop from sleep results in a screen of fuzzy fine vertical lines.

Only way of recovering being to use the Screen check facility 'D+Power button'

Issue first identified 03 December and to avoid issue have disabled sleep mode.

Dell Inspiron 13 5368 running windows 10 purchases Sept 2016.

John Lewis tech support there area number of posts regarding this issue, but yet to have a fix. Alas I cannot locate any posts relating to recovering / waking from sleep.

Software kept up to date with latest dell and MS updates.

Have installed and run the Dell support system checks to which no problems identified.

Is there a recognized problem or am I alone with this one please.

Hi jez48,

Thanks for posting.

Other users have reported success with this issue by updating the BIOS.  Have you done that already?
