Inspiron 15 3000 series laptop has run slow since day 1! PLEASE HELP!
I bought the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series months and months ago. Since day 1 it has been slow. I get so frustrated that I want to throw this lap top over my roof. I just cant afford to buy another one. I never go on forums and finally wanted some answers to my question, is it just me? I find out, its not just me. What is wrong with my lap top? Sometimes is works, I come back 1o minutes and its slow as ***. Took my 15 hours to download some software, everything freezes, i have to do a hard reboot sometimes.

Hi,
Thank you for writing to us!
I recommend you to run diagnostics on the hardware components of the system. To run diagnostics restart the system and at the Dell logo tap the F12 key every two seconds. This will start the One-time boot menu. Using arrow keys select ‘Diagnostics’ and hit enter. This will run diagnostics on the hardware components of the system which may take around 5 minutes. Please reply to this post in case of any error message.
You can also try this :
Let me know if this helped.
Thanks

Hot diggity dog! That's a very long time to download software. You get any error codes from the Diagnostic tests?

Good morning. The system told.me that nothing wrong has been found. Even this morning in trying to run a simple program and 90 % of the time i get "program not responding". so i have to wait. This is extremely frustrating because this has happened since day 1 i got the computer. Also the diagnostics took 4 hours to complete.

Hi,
We would suggest you to run a virus scan on the system and then back up the data and reset the system to factory defaults
Thanks
