Inspiron 15 5559 HD replacement
I have an Inspiron 15 5559 with W10 and am trying to change the HD to an SSD. The SSD is a SATA III. The startup screen says "No Hard Drive Installed". Will this laptop accept this drive? Do I have to go into BIOS to do this? Thank you for any replies.

If you're installing a 7 mm SSD in place of a 9.5 mm SSD, you'll need a shim to install the slimmer drive - or the drive won't securely connect to the mainboard.
