Inspiron 1525 Memory Upgrade
I have a 5 month old Inspiron 1525 and was just given 2 GB of memory by a friend. I was wondering if the Patriot Memory card (PSD22G6672) is compatible with my computer.

The short answer is no.
Your system can use DDR2 PC2-6400,DDR2 200-pin SODIMM PC2-5300 with a maximum of 2GB per slot.
The Patriot Signature memory (PSD22G6672) that you have is DDR2 2GB 240-Pin DIMM PC2-5300 (667MHz).
The key item to notice is your system uses a 200-pin SODIMM. The Patriot memory that you have is DIMM. It just will not fit.
