Inspiron 15R 5521 - Trackpad pointer keeps freezing and/or disappearing.
This is happening about 10 times a day, usually when typing an email or dealing with something. The only present solution is to hit the power button to sleep and then hit it again to start. Infuriating.
What might be causing it and what can I do to resolve it? Any solution would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I have run this test, this morning. The thorough test option was used and it returned no errors on any of the tests which all completed fine.
Yet, the problem I have persists. Is there another step to try to resolve this problem?
