Inspiron 17R graphics cards upgrade

Hi all.

I know this has been asked before, but i just wanted to be 100% certain of the facts.

I have the Inspiron 17R N7110 which has both the integrated Intel 3000 HD and the dedicated Nvidia 525M graphics cards. Having read older posts, i keep seeing that the Nvidia card is non-upgradable. Does this mean that both cards are soldered to the motherboard? (Motherboard product number OFRK44)

Thanks.

The Intel GPU is part of the processor;  the nVidia is indeed soldered to the mainboard.  Neither is upgradeable.

Hi KADEJONES,

I can confirm both the video cards are integrated to the motherboard on the system. Hence you cannot remove the video card and upgrade the same with a different model number.

If you have to upgrade the video card then you have to replace the complete motherboard of the system. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.
