Inspiron 3520 questions
What year was this i3 model released?
Was it originally available in red, or do the red palmrest and back of the N5110 just happen to fit? I've seen the parts that supposedly work with either model, but have yet to find a red 3520 for sale. I think mine would look good in red but want to remain "stock" color.
I've upgraded mine to i5-3210m and 16gb ram. I'm interested to find a somewhat better/faster inspiron at auction while remaining in a relatively low price range. Most I've looked at so far that are a bit newer actually have lower specs than mine. Any recommendations? Thx.

The 3520 was released on the following dates
LATAM - 30th August 2012
EMEA - 2nd August 2012
APCC - 20th July 2012
CCC - 20th July 2012
Japan - 20th July 2012
It was also sold in black as well as red. Unfortunately, I do not have any information on Auctions.

It's good to know this model was offered in red. I am considering some upgrades to my black 3520, including replacing the palmrest and lid with red ones. I see them for sale, but listed as N5110/3520 so wanted to make sure it was released for the 3520 and not just a coincidental fit. Thanks much!

Did it guys, and she's beautiful in red! Now i want a new bottom, motherboard, screen...
