Inspiron 5010 died and will not re-boot. Have lost a many-year customer. Sick of laptops and customer service.

During online classes (had to build a Voicethread using many files) my laptop and finally froze. I had to shut it off using the button. It will not re-boot into Windows (just repeats error messages telling me to insert reboot disc). When it is started or re-started in makes a sick beeping, hurking noise, which goes away eventually, but strikes me as a hardware issue. Tech support has insisted on OS failure. Not so far.

This is my last Dell.

And when the founder of Dell dies and goes to hell, guess what music he'll hear for eternity?
