Inspiron 5100 Keyboard Key Breaking

I'm having a slight problem here. The E, S, and F keys of my keyboard are breaking. They only detect the press about half of the time that I press the key (And sometimes it registers twice like the button was quickly pushed twice when I push it once). I believe that the keybutton, due to however the keyboard works, must've been pushed down too far or something Is there any way to fix this without a new keyboard? And if not, is there a way to buy a new keyboard for this computer so I don't have to get a USB keyboard?

hi,

i just replied to 11m2c so please look at that thread here.

A new keyboard can also be installed if needed : you can order with Dell but i would recommend to compare prices - they differ big time per supplier.

The user manual shows you how to replace the keyboard.

Hope this helps.
