Inspiron 5748 RAM Upgrade
What is the maximum amount of RAM that the Inspiron 5748 will accept? Can anyone recommend a good brand? Thanks in advance!

The system has only one memory slot and will take up to 8G in it.
Crucial.com is one of the most reliable suppliers.

Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.
As ejn63 rightly mentioned, Inspiron 5748 has only one memory slot and supports a maximum if 8GB memory. Please note that this system is only compatible with DDR3L (Low Voltage) with speeds upto 1600Mhz. It is always recommended to use Dell branded original memories, as they are tested, certified and will have warranty as well.
