Inspiron 5758 Laptop | How to disable FN key requirement?

I've been all over my computer and google trying to find this answer and it angers me nobody has ever asked this question

I installed Windows 10 sometime after getting the Computer (original OS was Windows 8)

I have yet to figure out how to disable the requirement for the FN keys.

Hi RadDevVan,

Here's what you need to do to disable the FN key.

  • Restart system, tap  F2. Wait for BIOS to come up.
  • Use arrow keys highlight POST Behavior and press enter.
  • Arrow down to Fn Lock Options and hit enter.
  • Then Uncheck the option for FnLock.
  • There are other options available as well, you may select which suits the best for you.
