Inspiron 600m - broken display. how to connect to external monitor?
The screen on my inspiron 600m is broken, cracked, can't see anything. A refurbished screen is too expensive ($216.) How can i connect it to an external Monitor??

Simply plug the external display into the VGA out port, and press FN-F8 to direct the video output to it.

I tried using a vga to component and it does not work. wont detect the monitor/tv
