Inspiron 7537 - Can't change any BIOS settings

I was trying to access the BIOS settings yesterday to change the boot order, but i couldn't do so. Normally, all the settings used to be editable ( the text used to be blue) but now most of the text is grey and I can't change any of the settings. There is an unlock setting in the 'Security' tab which I think may unlock the other settings but I have no idea what the password is  and how it got there. I used to access the bios settings quite a bit before without a problem.
