Inspiron 8600 Video Card Fan Replacement/Video Card Replacement
Hi,
I have an Inspiron 8600 with an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo (128mb) and the fan seems to have died, causing terrible framerates in even very old games. What I want to know is if there is somewhere I can buy another fan for my card, or if not, if the fan can be taken out of a cheaper card with the 8600 formfactor and stuck on my Radeon.
If I am to replace my video card, can you tell me what these two quadro's would be equivelent to in normal GeForces?
NVIDIA QuadroTM FX Go1000 128MB graphics chipset
NVIDIA Quadro FX Go700 128MB graphics chipset
How would the fx go700 compare to my current ATI 9600 pro turbo when it was working right?
