Inspiron N4010 Memory upgrade issue

I purchased some memory today and installed it, once installed I wound up in an endless loop of restart and never got Windows to load.

Old ram was put back in and computer works fine.

The RAM I bought was kingston DDR3 1333 CL9 (4GB)

I have a core i3 cpu in this Inspiron N4010 - and I am running a 64 bit operating system.

Is there some reason that this RAM would not be compatible? what can i do to solve this issue?

thank you

Is this Value RAM (KVR)?  That's known to have compatibility issues with Dell and other systems.
