Inspiron n5010 Shutting Off

My Dell Inspiron n5010 keeps shutting off whenever I attempt to turn it on.  Before this started happening I had powered off my laptop and cleaned the fan with compressed air. It worked fine before I did this. I have read that cleaning the fan is a solution to the powering off problem, but I just did that. What should I do?
