Welcome to our community. You may surely go ahead and install Ubuntu operating system on the Inspiron. We are afraid, that we have limited driver and application support for Ubuntu. Please feel free to write to us if you have any further queries.
Will the fresh install void the warranty of the hardware which as of now is still active till April 2018?
