Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 card upgrade

Hi,

I would appreciate any suggestions regarding the possibility to upgrade my wireless card (Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030) to a faster device.

I have a DELL laptop (Model # PO9E) 17.3" laptop.

My problem is, that it seems this wireless card does not see or connect to my 5G wireless signals, and I am only getting the 2.4G wireless signal.

If possible, can this change be done by me, as when I have upgraded RAM before?

Any suggestions appreciated.
