Internal hard disk driver not found
Hi, I have a Dell inspiron 14r .
Yesterday the computer froze, after a few minutes I turnd it off and on again and then It didnt started.
There was this black screen saying "Internal hard disk driver not found. to resolve this issue......"
I've tryied to reseat the HDD, disconnected from the motherboard and connected again, but it didnt work. Ive tryied to set default configuration on the BIOS but it also didn't work.
The HD is showing on the BIOS, in the Fixed HDD part, and it also shows the size (1000gb), but in the boot options there is only IP4 and IP6 Realtek PCiE Family Contoller, something like that.
I took my girlfriend HD, wich is a Samsung like mine, and tryied it on my laptop with no luck, it showed the same "internal hard disk driver not found" screen, but her HD is fine and working on her laptop. And also my HD didn't worked on her laptop.
What can I do? Did my motherboard and HD broke? It is something about the configuration?
Also, when I press the f5 button to open the PSA it says Hard Drive not Installed, and give this error wich ends in the 155 number.
Please I need help, I was going to buy a new HD but as my GF HD didn't work I dont know if my HD only is the problem.

Make sure when you tried the other drive that you transferred over any bracket/interposer that was on the original drive. If you didn't, the drive may not have been connected to the system.
If you did, and two drives are not found, there's a high probability it's the hard drive controller that has failed - which means a replacement system board is needed.

What you mean by "transfered over any bracket/interposer"? My BIOS recognized her HD, it was there on the Fixed HDD and said samsung......320gb.
So if the problem is within the Hard Drive Controller I'll have to buy a new motherboard?
And if So, why my HD didn't workd on her laptop?
Maybe my HD and my system board broke at the same time?

When you wrote that the system showed "internal drive not found" after transferring the test drive, it appeared neither drive was recognized. If your system DID recognize the drive, but the other system did not, it suggests a simple failed hard drive.
You cannot transfer a drive from a different model system and expect it to boot UNLESS the systems are either identical or very, very close in hardware.
The next step is to replace your hard drive and reload the OS from your recovery media. Do that before going further - if the other drive WAS recognized, there's a good chance that will inexpensively solve the problem.

Ok, my both mine and my girlfriends HD's are Samsung, on mine I have windows 10 and on hers it is a windows 7, they both have the same size and same connectors, why would hers boot on her pc and on mine?
In the BIOS, on the FIxed HDD part, it shows the name (model) and the size (1000gb/320gb) of the drive, but it doesn't boot. And on the PSA test it says "Hard Drive Not Installed".
The problem of her HDD on my PC is that it have windows 7 installed and by that it shouldn't boot?

At first you said the system DID recognize the drive - now it's showing "not installed" -- which is it?

When I turn on the PC i see a black screen with a dell logo, after a few minutes I see a black screen with the message "Internal Hard Disk Drive not Found....press f1......etc.."
And then I press f2 to open the BIOS, on the BIOS there is a place where it shows "Fixed HDD" and there is my HD listed after that, I dont know the name by head but it is there and after the name it shows the HDD size, wich is 1000gb.
When I go to boot options there are 3 boot options.
Boot 1 Windows Manager
Boot 2 uefi ip4 realtek ethernet controller
Boot 3 uefi ip6 realtek ethernet controller
When I switched between my and my girlfriends HDD i got the same black screen, and when I went to the bios I got the same thing, her HD was showing on the FIXED HDD part but not on the boot list on the boot tab.
When I press f5 and go to the ePSA diagnostics, it says the Hard Drive is not Installed, it is and error called 2000:0155
Also, mine HDD didn't worked on her laptop, so it seems like my HDD and my mother board have failed.

that means that you have a boroken hard drive and possibly a boroken motherboard you might have to To replace the motherboard and the hdd or it could be that your wires are boroken or might be that you just have to replace the hdd but only replace it with one that is the same if it not the same it might not work right with the porosseser

So what do I do now? Do I buy a new HDD and test if it works, and if it doesn't then I buy a new motherboard to see if it works?

It is probable a new drive will fix the problem. It's unlikely a drive from another system would work to boot yours UNLESS the system is identical or very close. If the drive you exchanged is from a newer UEFI system, it could also explain the problem.
Try a new hard drive - if that works, you're set. If not, you're better off going shopping for a new system than putting a minimum of a couple of hundred dollars into a system board for this one.
